What to expect on your first visit
It is our goal to provide you with the best chiropractic care possible in an environment that is warm, welcoming, and professional. Our receptionist/patient manager is available at all times to expertly answer your concerns and questions about your chiropractic care, your care schedule, or finances. You can count on us to make each visit a pleasant experience that you will look forward to!
Health History:
You will be given the opportunity to complete your paperwork at home by printing our documents directly from our website in the New Patient area. If you prefer, you may complete these documents in the office on your first visit
Consultation:
On your first visit you will have a personal consultation with your chiropractor to discuss your health-related concerns, ask any questions and learn more about how chiropractic care can help with your specific issues.
Examination:
To assess your condition, the chiropractor will perform a complete chiropractic examination to assess the complexity of your condition. These tests will give the chiropractor the information necessary to make a comprehensive recommendation for the treatment of your specific condition.
Doctors Report:
Your chiropractor will present a detailed report of all the examination findings and make recommendations for the treatment of your condition. You will be given an opportunity to ask any questions to help you understand all aspects of your treatment plan including:
How can you help me?
How often will I need to come in?
How much will it cost?
Your chiropractor will discuss any secondary recommendations such as nutritional therapy, massage therapy or a referral to see other physicians if necessary.
Adjustment:
At the conclusion of this report you will be ready to experience your first adjustment. Some patients are nervous about their first chiropractic adjustment. Rest assured that your doctor will discuss adjustment styles that are available to suite your individual preferences and will work with you to ensure your comfort.
Conclusion:
At the conclusion of your adjustment you will be given the opportunity to ask any other questions you may have and to schedule your next appointment to further your treatment.
